Benefits
Students who complete this course will be able to write or maintain COBOL programs that execute in the CICS/TS environment, using the Command Level interface.
Audience
Experienced COBOL programmers needing to develop and implement 3270-based online applications in the CICS/TS environment.
Prerequisites
At the very least, the student entering this course should have experience writing batch COBOL programs, as well as familiarity with the ISPF/PDF development platform, and should be comfortable with submitting jobs and reviewing job output.
