Introduction to z/OS is intended for technical people with MVS or OS/390 backgrounds who need a quick update on changes introduced by zArchitecture hardware and z/OS software. Or technical people with non-IBM-mainframe backgrounds who need a quick introduction to modern IBM mainframe terminology and capabilities.
The VSAM With Access Method Services course is for people who need to know VSAM concepts and terms and how to use IDCAMS, the VSAM utility, but don't need any programming interface information. The contents of this course are largely included in the courses VSAM For COBOL Programmers and VSAM For PL/I Programmers
